Other achievements… After appearing in the movie South Pacific (1958), nearly two decades later Ron took the lead role in the 1975 film Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze. During the 1980s, he guest-starred in hit TV shows such as Wonder Woman and The Love Boat. Family life… Ron retired in 2001 and died at his home in California on 29 September.
